English Musician, Mick Cox, is known for his beautiful and evocative soundtrack-style music. Commonly used with healing practitioners from most major parts of the world, Micks music has also been sourced by some film-makers, for its depth and emotion that is created.

Mick Cox,s music can be esoteric at times

by his use of synthesisers and acoustic instruments, happily colouring the imagination, side by side.

Experimentative, as much as it can be, however traditionally classic it is not. As the sole writer and producer of all of his recordings, Mick never limits his work, staying with a particular style or expression he changes as easily as the wind does. “Each and every track seems to take on a life of it’s very own”.

This can mean that he sees some pieces of work taking months to complete, each and every mood created precisely for its theme.

Earth Spirits
The album moves through synthersizer produced arrangements into, film like, sounds scapes. From solo effected violins, flutes and oboes. To layers of angelic voices a real must to listen on headphones.

This clear and delicate music floats in the mind with a dreamlike quality, which can move the listener into a serene like state very quickly. Relaxing to tracks like “Wind” or “Sea” provide the imagination with everything it needs to calm the listener, whilst “Sky” reminises of clouds drifting past on a summers day and “Fire” creates a strange reality complete with not overdone crackling..very tastfully done indeed.

This album, and indeed many others of Micks are to be recomended if you want music to relax to or work in the profession of hypnotherapy, meditation or Yoga.
